Search Tips
There are various ways to search the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse (NRFC) Web site as well as to refine your search.
Words
Entering terms in all once case "father," or "FATHER" will return the same results, regardless of how the term appears ("Father" "FaTHeR" and "father" will all return). However, entering terms with a specific case "Father" or "FaThEr" will only return matching results ("Father" or "FaThEr").
To search for multiple words, separate them with spaces.
Phrase
To search for an exact phrase, surround it with double-quotation marks. For example, entering "father absence and poverty" tells the search to find documents that contain the exact phrase father absence and poverty.
Be specific. If you know the exact title (or part of the title) of the document or information for which you're searching, enter that as your search.
Plain Language
To search with plain language, enter a question or concept. The NRFC Web site identifies the important words and searches for them. For example, enter a question such as:
How can I evaluate my Responsible Fatherhood program?
This query produces the same results as entering:
Evaluate Responsible Fatherhood program
